MountShred 3-Day Brian Head Mountain Bike Trip

Dates: July 4–6, 2025
Location: Brian Head, Utah
Rider Level: Intermediate to Advanced
Group Size: Max 12 riders
Ditch the fireworks for something even more explosive—a long weekend of high-altitude singletrack, rowdy descents, and good vibes in the cool alpine air of Brian Head. This 3-day guided mountain bike trip is designed for gravity-loving riders who want shuttle access to some of Southern Utah’s most iconic trails without the summer heat and crowds.
The Ride Plan:
🗓️ Day 1 – Bunker Creek + Dark Hollow
Meet at Brian Head Resort and hop in the shuttle for two of the area’s most legendary descents. Expect long, fast downhills through pine forests, aspen groves, and flowy turns for miles.
🗓️ Day 2 – Thunder Mountain
We’ll shuttle out to the Paunsaugunt Plateau to ride the red rock rollercoaster that is Thunder Mountain. This trail is packed with views, exposure, and otherworldly terrain you won’t find anywhere else.
🗓️ Day 3 – Blowhard + Cedar City Descent
Finish strong with a big day on Blowhard—technical, fast, and absolutely wild. Then descend into Cedar City via one of the lesser-known local gems for a proper send-off.
Trip Includes:
- Daily shuttles from Brian Head Resort
- Professional MTB guide . Lead by Wild Mesa Mountain Bike Guides
- Trail knowledge, session spots, and mechanical support
- Optional bike rentals if needed
- Daily ride briefings, trail snacks, and group fun
Good to Know:
Optional: Bring your party pants—we’re throwing a mellow trail-side hangout on the 4th to celebrate.
This trip is geared toward intermediate to advanced riders with a love for downhill and some tolerance for pedal punches.
You’ll be riding at high elevation (up to 11,000 feet), so come prepared with layers and lungs.
Space is limited to 12 riders for a tight-knit crew and max trail time.
3 DAY Trip Price: 399$ Per Rider
